Socorro General Hospital leaders participated in the hospital's annual Day of Service by volunteering at Socorro Storehouse on Oct. 1 and 3.
The group helped with a variety of activities, including unloading food, stocking shelves, packing boxes of food, checking in participants, distributing food and loading cars for those who needed assistance.
Beth Beers, manager of Community Based Programs at SGH, said the day is an opportunity for employees to give back and better understand the resources available in the Socorro community.
